Ahh, the first of the month... some people have a habbit of making sure 'Rabbit, Rabbit' are the first words out of their mouths in the morning on the 1st of a month to ensure good luck for that month!!
So, what is something you'll do to ensure good luck on the wedding day? Rabbit's foot in your purse?
For me, I'm going to be wearing a silver and blue bracelet that FH bought in 1995, when he was 11 years old that he saved for the 'girl of his dreams.' (He gave it to me on our 2 year anniversary and it's also my 'something blue'!)

I am like completely obsessed with my cat and I was sad that he couldn't be there but My FH actually brought one of my cat's toys and hid it in my bouquet. It was so cute!

all the crazy italians in my family have each given us something to carry or do for good luck...we smiled and nodded and said thanks....if we carried all or did all we would have no time for a wedding lol....so instead i will jut walk to my future hubby,say our vows,become man and wife and see im pretty lucky already
btw..carly you 2 r too cute for words..i want to marry both of you!!!!!!!

But I don't have a lucky charm per se...not like that. The closest thing I have are my bouquet charms of my little Angel kitty. I used to pet him and say I needed a rub on my good luck kitty before a test or something, so now at least I'll have his pictures for the day. God I miss him so much.

Well this was done on my sisters day for good luck and will more than likely be carried out on my day too:
Mom blessed each of us with Holy water from Knock (a religious place in ire.) and gave her horseshoe (not a real one-a keepsake) from her wedding to my dad to one of the BMs to carry.
Thats pretty much it as far as good luck...

that's adorable!! I have to stick my babies in somehow so I'll have to think of how to do that.
My good luck charm was my grandfather. He passed away 7 years ago and I'll have the blue handkerchief that he brought to Church every week sewn into my dress. He always saw ladybugs as good luck and therefore refused to kill them. The night he died 2 ladybugs suddenly appeared in my bedroom and someone once told me that a bug in a room that wont go away is the spirit of someone who has died and is watching over you. The ladybugs were there for a little over 6 months, and they come back every now and then and cheer me up :) I'm trying (desperately) to find a ladybug bok charm and some other ladybugs that I can hide.

Aw...that is SO sweet
Mine was to wear my grams crystal bracelet. Her and my pap have been married for 61 years and she wore it on her wedding day. So that was my something borrowed AND my lucky charm
So while dancing with a friend during the bridal dance, his finger got caught in it and it burst into a million peices!!
