Today's question is inspired by the idea of the sweetest gift! Sometimes what seems like a small gesture can mean the world to someone - specifically if it's coming from your FH....and a gift can be defined as anything - words, an item, emotion, etc.
Describe a 'gift' that FH has given you that you still cherish to this day and explain why it means so much to you
Within the first week of knowing eachother - we already made a big effort to see eachother every single day. FH calls me around 6pm that one evening and says he can't make it because he has to do something. Of course, I was totally bummed out. 10 minutes later he calls me and says 'Hey I never asked you, what's your favorite number?' I told him 3 randomly and because I was in such a bad mood because I wouldn't get to see him I kept the convo short
An hour later, he calls again and tells me to go downstairs to see something. He was standing by the entrance, with three beautiful red roses in his hand I still have one of the roses in a frame from over 2 years now...Why was it so precious to me? Because from that day on, I knew he was the man I'd be with for the rest of my life. Even a small gesture as three roses, it meant the world to me knowing he also understood that something like that could make me happy. Every few weeks now, he gets me some kind of flower - it's almost become a tradition and I adore him for it!

my FH bought me a black and white diamond penguin pendant for my birthday the first year we dated

My FH is the best gift giver...He really takes his time and he knows me so well! One of the sweetest things he has ever given was a plaque with the word love on it made out of little silk flowers. He bought it from a street vendor out in Brooklyn when he was out with his boys one night and carried all around with him, even on the train!!! They made fun of him and called him whipped but he said he knew I would LOVE it and I did!! Its been over our bed for 5 years and I still love it!

Alright...for our first Christmas together he only asked me two questions, what's my favorite color and would i rather have something from him or for him to pay for something i pick out. Of course i said my favorite color is green and i want something from him. So on Christmas day i open my gift from him and it's a benchmade folding pocket knife...green LOL!! FH LOVES pocket knives and wanted to get me one. When i opened the box i thought he was crazy! (im pretty prone to accidents). But not long after that i was making an early morning taco bell run and while i was waiting in the drive through a drunk guy came walking up to my car. The first thing i thought of was the pocket knife in my bag. The guy tried to open my car door! I popped opened the knife and yelled 'get the eff away from me or ill stab you' the guy didn't stick around long after that. I went home and told FH what happened and i said i love you so many times. After that i realized that his gift wasn't just because he wanted to get me something he liked too, but deep down he wanted me to always be safe..i love him for that
