YESS!! But not necessarily for the wedding. I think my gown actually looks real good on me. Its the bikini I would like to wear 2 days later on our HM.

I felt pressured but then I realized I got off the skinny train, transfered at Jamaica and happened to get on the sexy train instead!

No...I actually think it's terrible that brides-to-be feel that pressure, especially since some take it to the extreme.

Our FHs fell in love with us for many reasons, and I'm sure they don't want us to compromise our health just to look a little skinnier on the big day.

That being said, I do think it's great if people seek out healthy lifestyle changes (ie., WW, which I am a lifetime member of), but to take it into practice for the long-term.

Yes, from me... Although, now that I'm answering, my mom has made a few comments....

I have always said that I wanted to lose weight anyway, and I hate to say it, but this is my motivation!! I haven't started working out, though!!! Does stress count??

negative. If I lose even 5 pounds like look sickly. But aside from being sick I've been my current weight for at least 5 years. I would just like to tone up a little for bpics.

Absolutely! It really hit me when I was trying on dresses that I didn't want to be the weight that I was. I felt like my hips were the center of attention! (More so than they should be anyway)

Since ordering my dress, I've lost almost 10 pounds and I'm very happy about it, but another 10 would be wonderful! That's my end goal actually.

I lost 25lbs since Aug 2008 and been maintaining the lost weight for the past 8 months. I do want to lose more weight / tone up for the wedding, but only around my hips and stomach area
the only pressure is me haha

No preassure here to lose weight. I'd be to scared that I'd dissapear, lol

Although I had to take my dress back to get a bigger size.I don't think going from a 0P to a 2P is a cause to lose weight. Curves look great and as a smaller woman, I'm glad I'm starting to fill in

Nope I lost almost 50 pounds three years ago and am VERY happy. I've put a few back on, so I'd like to get maybe 5 off, but that's not just because of the wedding, that's for myself.

Definitely. I gained weight on the cruise we went on last May and it just won't go away!!! I'm in no way shape or form fat, but I want to rock that dress!
