Tulip Cake pictures?

We are doing all tulips for the wedding (yeah, i love tulips!) and we just met with a florist that said she could do tulips on the cake as well (real ones!). i really love the idea, but she had no pictures so i cannot picture it for the life of me.

we are doing it a lovin oven site, so i thought i would go with one of the flower cakes that i have seen posted on this site from Lovin Oven (i think they were gardenias maybe?)

Any thoughts or pictures would be welcome! thank you!

Just a word of caution...be careful w/using real flowers on your wedding cake. My cake designer recommends not using fresh flowers b/c of all the pesticides and MiracleGro-type agents that growers use on their crops...you wouldn't want any of this stuff to be on something you and your guests are going to eat!

Most high-end wedding cake designers can create very real looking flowers with rolled fondant, gum paste and sugar paste.

i met with flower Michele this week and as soon as i said tulips they started talking about your wedding!!

have you booked your florist? Tulips on the cake would look lovely also, but I had my heart set on the gardenias. Plenty of tulips elsewhere in the room!
