Tulle??

Tulle??

Has anyone had or is getting a wedding dress made with tulle? I need your honest opinion of what you think of them? I found one I loved. It was so damn heavy compared to other dresses!! I'm afraid it's gonna fall down and the girls are gonna pop out! That would be my luck! Right in the middle of cake cutting!!!! Also do you think they look to 'plain' in pics. Any comments or info you can share please let me know!!!!

I think tulle is really pretty...I actually wanted it on my dress, but then I tried on a dress with it, and I looked like a giant snowpuff...it looks great on other people though.

I think tulle is absolutely beautiful. When you try on the dress, you'll know if its the one or not, tulle or no tulle. So just be open.

Personally, one of my most favorite tulle dresses is bella11. Check out he pics on community albums...very pretty and princessy!

I am actually getting a tulle gown.

I always wanted a very full 'puffy' skirt and found that the tulle ones looked best on me. and I actually thought they were less heavy than a lot of the full skirts made out of other material.

It is definitely something you know when you put the gown on though. i tried on tons, but kept going back to the tulle so i knew it was meant for me

I like tulle alot, but for certain figurs it does nothing, or just makes you look big. My girlfriend had Tulle, (mind you she's 5'3 110lbs, and she looked like a princess. I think it flatters certain figures, as with anything!!

My dress is tulle. I absolutely love it. However, I had my bridesmaid try on tulle BM dresses and they were not flaterring at all.

Mine is tulle and I love it. It's not too heavy and mine has beading on the bottom so it's not plain.

My friend who is 4'10' had a tulle dress and she looked pretty but I think the puffiness of the dress made her look even smaller.

That's what I'm hoping for!!!

I heard you have to be careful with tulle because it rips or tears easily.

Personally, it is not my taste! Though I have seen some brides who looked beautiful in tulle dresses. It really depends on the style of the dress. I have tried some on, and found it to be very heavy. If looks good on you and you are comfortable, go for it.

my dress has a tulle overlay, it makes the dress very light not heavy if you had all silk

Re: Tulle??

this is my gown...all tulle!!! (BTW...not altered yet so the bottom is WAY too long--hence the 'bunching')

Beautiful!!!!! I love it!!! Very similar to the one I like. I think it was a Justin Alexander!

Re: Tulle??

I just bought my dress this weekend and its all Tulle and I LOVE it. I had been looking for something very simple, just A line, but I tried this dress on on a whim and it was perfect, I just knew it was the dress! :)

I say go with Tulle, Tulle is fun :)
