tungsten band?

so fh and i went to fortunoff today to look for bands, but it didnt work out bc apparently he needs a 10 1/2 and the biggest bands they carried other than plain gold are a size 10

however he came to the conclusion that he wants a tungsten band-has anyone bought one of these?

also, does the color turn over time like silver? or is it more like gold?

i bought a tungsten band for fh. it is the strongest, most durable metal to get for a guy who likes to use his hands outdoors or works with guns and stuff like that. it resists scratching well. we haven't gotten married yet but i do know of someone who has gotten her husband one and he loves it. it hasn't turned or anything for him. i think it makes a great looking wedding band! good luck!

My FH also wants a tungsten band, and also needs the 10 1/2 I don't think it really tarnishes at all, but that's not a concern for us because FH wants a black one

im actually looking into these too. FH works in construction and im really worried about getting a ring that'll look like s h i t from the wear and tear. How are the prices on these rings?????

VERY cheap i found some online last night for under a hundred bucks..

i told fh that if his band is that cheap he can pick out a nice tungsten watch to match haha

This is good info girls. My fh plans to get two bands a nice one for going out and stuff and another cheap one with no diamonds or anything for everyday since he does manual labor everyday. Ill see if he likes tungsten

FH got a tungsten band, originally he wanted a black one, but when we went ring shopping he picked out a silver one. The prices are very good, FH's cost $180

FH is getting a tungsten band as well. He is constantly doing something with his hands and already broke a gold ring he had.

Anyone know of a actual store that carries this type of ring? I think I've only seen it online.

they had a bunch last night at fortunoff that were 40 % off plus another 10%, but they would only work if your fh is a size 10

other than that i just had an add that i tore out-kays carries them and zales carries a few too

but the ones online were the cheapest i found and i actually liked them better

Go to most major jewelry stores and they carry tungsten rings. Also artcarved makes a line of tungsten rings that lots of the jewelry stores carry. I got his at major jewelers in smithaven mall but they closed that location and i think they moved everything to another location that i'm not sure of. Def check any major jewelry store...ooooh in Tanger Outlets I know they had them at ultra diamonds too. hope this helps!
