anyone going on T&C for their honeymoon..not all-inclusive...

We're not going there for our honeymoon, but I just wanted to add that I went there about 5 years ago to the Club Med...It's a beautiful place, the beaches are gorgeous and the snorkeling is amazing!!!!

We went on our HM last Apri;l. Stayed at the Allegro. Had an amazing time. Both the places you mentioned were very nice (we rented a jeep so we saw everything on the island). If you are looking for lots of partying this is not the place though. The island is very secluded and not a party place! Let me know if you have any more questions!

Well, if you're going in June for your honeymoon, find out how the weather is because it might be extremely hot that time of year. But then again, if it's as hot as it is in NY in July/August, what difference does it make?
I booked my honeymoon there, and it looks so beautiful! I really don't want a party place, and I don't want to stay somewhere where you have to fight for a spot on the beach to put your towel down and everything. I am staying at the Sands at Grace Bay. The price for a studio oceanfront room is very reasonable compared to how the other hotels/resorts were priced. This resort is also smallish compared to others. And the restaurant that is right next to it is decently priced if you can't afford to go to a more swanky restaurant every night. I read great reviews about this hotel also.
Oh, if you're going there for June this year, you better book flight tickets soon. I had to already pay my travel agent for my flight tickets for November because she warned me the prices would be going up next week. I think there's only one direct flight each day.

well, trying to find best 'weddingmoon' place... torn between Ocean club vs Sands. ie) ocean club has 2 resort which you can shuttle back and forth...you can walk to restaurants, etc.. sands more intimate ...wedding package is less expensive etc
not looking for party place...but to veg and enjoy beautiful beach.
any thoughts on these 2 resorts ?

Well, take a look at this. This has different reviews on all the hotels and resorts around there. I know one Ocean Club had bad reviews while another one has better reviews. Because there's Ocean Club and Ocean Club West.
we were there for vaca 2 yrs ago...fantastic!!!! We stayed at the Grace Bay Club - pricey but well worth it - I highly recommend them.

I went there, but stayed at Club Med. It was the most fun vacation I have ever had.... I love Club Med but I don't know what you're looking for - just had to add my review because I wish I could go back soon
