Turn off the gas?

Turn off the gas?

Do you turn off the tank (if you have the option on your grill to leave it on) when you are finished grilling something?

DH gets mad at me when I dont turn the knob to shut it off at the tank and not just turn off the grill.

my uncle yells at me all the time when I forget to turn it off at the tank, so I learned the hard way!!

I have been given strict instructions to ALWAYS turn the gas tank off.

My bestfriend use to live with us and one summer she was dating a fireman and we were using the grill and when I didn't turn off the gas after using it he warned about the dangers. Fire departments alwasy recommend turning off an active gas line if not in use. He tols us some scary stories of grills killing people and started huge house fires. It takes 15 seconds, it;s better to be safe.

Always turn it off at the tank.....in fact have to remind my daughter alot!!!

I was about to say the same thing. I've seen them blowup.
