tux color help (black tie guyyyy you can help too)
ok so FH is going to be wearing the black tux, ivory vest and white shirt as well as the ivory tie (i am guessing ivory and not white white since my dress isn't white).
The BM are wearing a dark brown dress. What color besides dark brown can the GM wear? I DEF want them in black tuxes, so beige tux isn't an option.
I need an option for the shirt color, vest color and tie color for the GM to match the girls dark brown dresses......their bo'q will be pale pink color.

my dress wasn't white either and this is what we did:
dh in black tux, white shirt, ivory vest and tie gms in black tux, white shirt, black vest, teal and black striped ties bm in teal dresses
you could do something like:
fh in black tux, white shirt, ivory vest and tie gm in black tux, black vest, champagne, goldish or pale pink ties or gm in black tux, white shirt, brown vest and tie

I would stick with a white shirt. The ivory is usually VERY ivory, almost a pale yellow.
Do you have any accent colors in your flowers?

Hmmm.. I'm having all Black tux...BM dresses are black and my dress is ivory. Should we have all the guys wear ivory shirts? Groom wants to wear brown vest and GM wearing black vest all with ivory shirt.

my bo-q will be all white/cream and the BM will be a pale pink against the dark brown dresses

I have pretty much the same colors and for our groomsmen we're doing black tuxes, black vests, white shirts and a black and brown thinly striped tie, which blends together and goes well with the dark brown dresses.

Would you be opposed to putting them in pale pink vests/ties? It would have to be really light though, not like a carnation pink right?

ETA: I think adding some pale pink in there could be nice too, maybe a third stripe in the pale pink. I'm sure that kind of a tie is out there.

I don't think FH nor his GM would be too keen on pink vests, ties and flowers lol.

this is what we did
dh- black tux white shirt ivory vest and tie gm- black tux white shirt black vest with a purple/aubergine multi colored stripped tie to match the girls gown.
dh picked the tie. i think he did great. he loves ties like becca loves shoes

This was our original plan, but I don't know how the BM dresses in DARK BROWN would go standing next to the guys. In her album, I LOVE the way the guys look next to the girls, but she has a light BM dress color......do you think it would look as good iwth a dark brown BM dress color?!
