What about it makes you think it looks informal? I think it's just a modern looking tuxedo--are those tails? It doesn't look like a morning suit if that's your concern. I love the silver tie and vest!

I think its the stripes of the suite, that is very different than others wear for weddings, and that is what makes me think its informal.. It doesn't have a tail. Its suite-like.
I wish I could convince FI wear platinum.. that is what on the pic. But, for some odd reason he wants black..

I think its fine! My FH is not even wearing a tie( he refuses) and we are having a formal wedding. I dont think anyone will notice. Who cares, go for what you LIKE!
