So FH's biggest wedding thing was that he wanted to go and pick out tuxes with his dad. I had no problem with that because he has really good taste and the tux is obviously his decision, since he's wearing it. Anyway, he went to Men's Warehouse and picked out a tux that is long. I can't think of the name but it's a long jacket. They didn't have the tux for him to try it on. I'm concerned because my FH does not have an athletic build that I think is necessary for that type of jacket and he wasn't able to see that for himself. I mentioned it lightly and he just said it will be fine. I just don't want him to look silly. Am I being stupid?? Lol Does anyone know anyone that got this type of jacket?
I went with FH to pick out tuxes. I'm sure he will look great, but if you are concerned call around to see who has it available and have him try it on in your presence.

Definitely find a place to try it on. FH and I went to Prom together and he was set on a long jacket. I didn't care so he got one. He doesn't really have athletic build either and is on the shorter side so honestly, the jacket looked silly. It just looked like a jacket that was too big for him, not a long jacket lol. It's something we joke about it. He thought he was the sh*t in it at prom, but looking back we realized how funny it looked. Hopefully a long jacket looks better on your FH than it did mine!

most pictures I see of guys in this type of jacket it just looks too big as previously mentioned. I agree to call and see where you can try it on. See if another men's warehouse on the island has it in store.

I.wish I.had a pic I couldshow u...my uncle used them fit his wedding and my dad is heavy (not obese but large lol) and I.thought it looked very good in him. But I do agree he should try it on.....idk why he wouldn't want to....

Tell him what you think about it. Those types of jackets dont look good on big guys, hell respect your opinion.

Definitely find a place that has a jacket in that style so he can try it on. Even if he's dead set on it, you don't want it to be a few days before your wedding when he finally tries it on and is like, wow this looks ridic. (or not, but you don't want to take that chance!)
