tux frustration...help

It seems that every store FH and I go into to look at tuxes just hands him a book and says, 'Here, pick the one you like.' How can he possible pick from a book??! If that was how I had to pick my dress, I would freak out! Is there any tux store in Suffolk that has different tuxes in stock for him to try on??

Go to Galleria Invitations and Gino's Tuxedo's on Rte. 109 in Farmingdale (It's by Wendy's across from REpublic Airport.)

They had the physiccal tuxes there, and FH got to try on his own, and the one we picked for the groomsmen.

It is family owned and the woman we dealt with (I forget her name but she is VERY pregnant..due in three weeks) was extremely nice and very helpful!

It is not in Suffolk but we went to Tuxedo Park and they have inventory of all their tuxes there. FH didn't need a tux becuase he bought one but he was able to try different styles when picking what the GMs would wear.

My FH got his tux at Renates in Lindenhurst. He was able to try on a bunch of tuxs and then 3 days later his tux was in!

FH was able to try tuxes on at Tuxedo Park in Hicksville, but BEWARE: let them know up front if you are prepared to sign a contract. We did not, because we wanted to see what was available. They NEVER once mentioned prices, and when they started adding everything up (which was more expensive that the other places we'd gone to) and FH said we would take the prices and get back to them, the consultant did a full 180 and said if he had known we weren't prepared to sign a contract he wouldn't have taken the time to go through everything and let FH try anything on. He was pointing to me and said he had told me (he pointed and called me 'her') prices and when I told him he did no such thing he argued with us and said we were liars. We were dumbfounded! Very comfortable with the shop we did sign with. FH hasn't tried anything on but we know he will be wearing a Joseph Abboud suit (the Ralph Lauren is gorgeous too but the Abboud is lighter for our July wedding). If you would like any more info, FM me.
