Tux how do u do this?

my dad and brother live in NC and i want them to have the same tux as all the guys in the wedding party. there is a afterhours there but people are saying they are bad, so now what do i do? have them get measured any place then tell the tux place i pick??

You can have them get measured and then send their measurements in to the place where you are ordering your tuxes from. Then they can pick them up when they come for the wedding.

I'm using Men's Wearhouse. They have mixed reviews but, friends of ours used them and had a good experience for their wedding last year. They can get measured and pick up their tuxes anywhere, and they can return them anywhere as well.

Half of our BP lives OOT. We reserved tuxes at Rogers Tuxedo in Smithtown. The OOT guys know they have to go get measured and call us with them.

I used after hours and they $ucked. After all the drama, my 'boys' looked amazing, that is all that matters
My DH and I were in NC, along with one of the groomsmen, 2 groomsmen were on Long Island (where we got married), one was in Arizona and one in Florida. It was a nightmare but it all worked out !!

will another place measure OOT groomsman and write down their measurements for them? is this like a separate service they provide for a fee or something?

there is men's wearhouse...what they will do is charge the guys (all of them) a $20 deposit at the fitting. they can pay that or the full rental at that time.

they will put the info in their computer in NC and it will link up with your 'wedding party' here in NY.

Your OOT Groomsmen can go to any reputable suit/tux place and get measured. Brooks Brothers will do it, Bloomingdales and Nordstom will do it, even Mens Warehouse. Then you just have them send the measurements to your tux place here on LI and they will get them the right size.

I recomend Dante Tuxedo in Westbury on Old Country Road. They are wonderful to deal with and they have a huge selection of tuxes on hand so god forbid a measurements was off, they would have the right size clean, pressed and in house if you needed it.
