I think anyone walking down the aisle should be in a Tux, that being said, my FIL will not be wearing one by his own choice :)

we had all the guys in suits instead of tuxes (subtle differences, no one noticed) - just to make it more casual.
both dads' wore suits.

I'm having all the guys (including my Dad and Uncle) in tuxes. They will wear regular ties instead of bow ties.

Personally, I think anyone in *a LOT of formal pictures* should be in a Tux ....
Not only did my Dad and FIL wear tuxes, but so did my Grandfather and some of my Uncles. I didn't really think it was necessary for my Uncles, but it was their choice.
