So one of FH's groomsmen owns his own tux. This weekend he kind of was like, 'You know I am going to wear my own tux, right?' So my question is, will it look weird if the grooms wear different tuxes? I kind of want to be a pain in the *** and say, no you have to rent the same tux as all the other guys, but I think he is going to freak out. So what do you think? Can he wear his own tux? What if I want the guys to wear a certain color tie/vest? Will he rent just that? I have no clue about this stuff!!!!

Truthfully, I think it will only look weird if his tux is very different from the one the guys are renting b/c then he'll be the only one wearing it and will really stick out. If it isn't much different he can rent the vest and tie.

FBIL owns his own, we are making him rent one. The BP should match and everyone else will have the same tux, and part of committing to being in our wedding is committing to wear what we want him to. He is not happy but tough luck. Its our wedding not his.

if they are all wearing a black jacket and pants i think it will be fine. He will have to rent the same color vest and tie though!
