How far in advance should tuxes be ordered? Oct 30th wedding? Aug?

our tux shop said we had until 2 weeks before to get them all ordered... but i know for a fact that they can go up to a week before...

Ours said July 31st for an August 27th wedding.

we went about 2-3 months before our wedding to pick them out and have that arranged. The guys then went up until about 2 weeks before the wedding to get measured and then picked them up 3 days before the wedding :)
