My FH and I got together during lunch to get the Tuxedos and yet another dilemma came up!!!
FH is in ivory shirt, ivory vest and tie ...
The Groomsman are in lavendar and the Dads are in black ..... they told us that they both should be in white shirts ????????
Is this right??? If my FH is in an ivory shirt????

I would leave your FH in ivory to match you, and everyone else in the white shirts.

My FH is in an Ivory shirt too. The tux place we went to suggested that all of the guys should be in Ivory as well. Especially since my gown is Ivory, and I didn't want there to be a contrast between my dress, and their shirts.
The Ivory shirt they are wearing is such a light Ivory, so it can pass for white. See if your tux place has light Ivory shirts. As long as they are not yellowish, they will go with both lavendar & Black.

I'm also concerned about this. I'm wearing ivory, FH's shirt will also be ivory...and I'm thinking that if the groomsmen wear white it will make my dress look very NOT WHITE! So, I'm probably going to put all the guys in Ivory too!

I am putting everyone in ivory. My photographer suggested that EVERYONE be in ivory so that I don't look dull (as iff). He even said to get ivory linens instead of white.

I wore ivory and champagne. All the men...DH, groomsmen, Dads, ringbearer...were in ivory. I don't kinow if there is a right or a wrong way...but I wanted everyone to match. I even bought an ivory aisle runner because I was neurotic about this.

I ran into this problem , or would have if I didn't change my dress color (at first mine was ivory and then i changed it to white), either way is ok, honestly . . .
