Tux shop in Forest Hills/Rego Park

Anyone know of a good tux shop? I've heard some negative things about the only 2 near me, Flowerama and Zellers. Any thoughts appreciated.

Tux shop in Forest Hills/Rego Park

Zeller's is the worst!!! The manager there was so unhelpful and all of our tuxedos came in wrong!! They did nothing to rectify the situation, except say 'don;t worry.' How was I not supposed to worry with my wedding being the next day? Fowerama SAVED THE DAY!!! They had all the groomsmen fitted and ready to go by the next day!!! They were soooo helpful and accomodating!!! I would definitely recommend them!!!!

quick question

Can you tell me what you paid? Was in comparable to other stores? I had seen some complaints on the BBB site for Flowerama which concerned me. Glad you had such a nice experience. I have heard all Zeller's were terrible. Thanks.

quick question

It was such a rush job, I really don't remember what we paid. It was also 7 months ago. I ran out of Zeller's screaming, after going in there 4 times the year before to confirm, and re-confirm our order. It was horrenous. Flowerama really did save the day and I would recommend them to anyone who lives in the area. I can only speak from my experience, and I know there are quite a few Flowerama stores, so maybe the complaints were against a different one.

Flowerama

We used the Flowerama on Myrtle Ave. in Glendale and they were great. When we first went in there, they mentioned that their tailor was just a few blocks away, so they were able to make even minor adjustments very quickly. My husband wore a Morning Suit - Grey striped pants and long jacket with a striped ascot. The Groomsman had matching suites except that their coats were short (standard) length. I think they were in the $90-$100 range, except that the groom talked them into a discount on his even though they did not have the 6+ rentals that required, and his father and one of the groomsman got the 'senior citizens' 15% discount, for which they had to endure much teasing. The tuxes all fit everyone perfectly and were comfortable. I think they were even happy with the shoes.
