Do you think it looks funny if FH and BM (there are no groomsmen) wear the same shirt and tie?
also, are your FH's wearing a vest or no vest???

Sorry laura this is something I have not looked into at all. FH is going to do whatever he wants, if he wants a vest he can get one. But to answer your question, I don't think it'll look silly for the 2 of them to be wearing the same tux, maybe you can change up their ties a little bit?

All the guys are wearing the vest and tie. FHs will be platinum (a silverish white) and the guys will match the BM.
They told us at the shop that the groom usually wears a light color (white or silver). Your MB can wear a darker silver- or whatever. I think any thing goes. Its up to you. I dont think it will look bad. FH will probably have a bigger boot so everyone will no doubt know who the groom is...or at least they better... haha

thanks girls i found and bought these great ties at a great price for my dad and FFIL i got a black on black stripe and for FH and BM i got ivory on ivory stripe
should they wear ivory shirts or white???

My FH and the groomsmen are all gonna be wearing the same thing. Black tuxedos, black vests, black ties. I just love that classic look, plus I personally dont like colored vests. The dad's and ushers will be in the same thing except with a black bow tie and no vests.

ok great! thats what i figured problem is that BM is in florida so i need to email him the details
FH wants his BM and GM to match him.. the only difference he was thinking about is the vest..
He wants to wear one.. so either they will all wear one (just a different color than his) or he will and they wont..
i hope i explained that well.. we havent looked into them yet.. just ideas he is throwing around.

that's no problem at all! He'll understand when you show him the tie and tell him he's wearing an ivory shirt (unless he's color blind)

They should definitely wear ivory shirts with the ivory ties. If you put the ivory tie with a white shirt it may give the tie a 'dirty' appearance cause its more dull.

I looked into this, this past weekend., went to Mens Warehouse with FH. You cant even tell that the vest is under there....ITs really not needed., but included with the tux. They can both wear the same tux. , your FH will just have a white boutenaire or whatever color you choose.

I may not/may do a vest not sure yet. All the guys are wearing all blk tuxedo's with blk shirt and a green tie. Not sure if a vest is really neccessary.
