My FH is going to start looking for tuxes and we're not sure where to begin. Are there places in Queens or Nassau county that you would recommend? We're looking ideally for a chain so that the out of state grooms can go somewhere that is local to them.
Thanks

Re: Tuxedo Help
Men's Warehouse is wonderful. they have a location in forrest hills. They have plenty of choices and if you rent 4 you get the groom's tux free. HTH

Re: Tuxedo Help
It doesn't have to be a chain for your OOT guys- they can go to any local tuxedo store to get measured and then just send or call in the measurements to whatever store you choose.

We did this also & even got a tux fitted for a GM from Ireland. It all worked out great & they did small last minute touches when the OOT GM came in for the RD.
We used Feldman Esq. Tuxedos in Merrick on Merrick road. LOVED them!

Re: Tuxedo Help
Wouldn't we need to use a chain for the out of town guys to return their tuxes?

Nope. They can change after the reception and one of the other guys can take it back for them. That's what we did with our OOT GM.

Re: Tuxedo Help
i was part of a wedding where the groom/groomsmen used men's wearhouse and it was great because they were able to coordinate the ensemble styles from their database even though all groomsmen were in different states! BUT BE CAREFUL! when the big day finally came, the best man's received a bow tie instead of the ensemble neck tie. LUCKILY...he was able to borrow a similar necktie from one of the waiters at the venue. WHEW! talk about lucky.

That is what we did and we used Feldman Equire in Lynbrook.

Re: Tuxedo Help
We used Tuxedo Park in Carle Place and they were really easy to work with. All but one of our GM were from out of town and Tuxedo Park just gave us a little form to email them and have it filled out by their local tailor. They were wonderful to work with
