Hello everyone!! FH and I are getting ready to order tuxes and we are on the fence on the vests and ties. My BM's are wearing chocolate brown with a pink sash and initially I thought we'd do pink ties with black vests but after seeing some brown vest sets we don't know what to do!! Any of you doing brown vests with black tuxes? Anyone have any pics??? Thanks for your help!! Dana

Personally, I do not like it when the GM's tuxes match the BM dresses. I like a more classic look - We're doing charcoal grey vests and ties for this exact reason. (My girls are wearing navy, anyway, which wouldn't work for vests / ties with black tuxes, but we weren't planning to match). The guy who helped us at the tuxedo store also recommended against trying to match. I haven't been to a wedding in a long time where they matched the vests / ties...
That said, this is just my taste and we're talking about YOUR wedding. Go with whatever you color you think will work. I'm sure it'll look great.
ETA - out of pink or brown, though, I'd go with the brown. The pink will make the GMs stand out much more so than the ladies in the pics.

i think the brown over the pink ties with black vests... IMO it may look prom-ish...
i've seen some brown vests in the rental places and they look nice..

Our Grooms Party are wearing Brown tuxedos with cinnomon tie and vest. FH will also wear Brown tuxedo with white tie and vest. The tuxedo choice was FH's decision and will go well with Bridal Party's burnt orange inspired dresses.
