Tuxedo Question

For those who already booked their tux's what was the policy of the company you used on trying on the styles to be sure you like it before making a final decision?

I got a really great coupon in the mail for a tux place but when we went in to talk to them they said they only do try ons for the groom (2 styles) and that the groomsmen/fathers would just pick a style from a catalog and get measured. My worry is that things look different on catalog models than real people so how can they know that it will be a good style for them?

TIA!

Re: Tuxedo Question

Your gut feeling is to be skeptical, I am reading this between the lines in your post. I wouldn't want to use that company, even if it is a bargain.
All of the men should try on a style and a size closest to them to see what it looks like.

Try Men's Warehouse. Their prices are supposed to be reasonable.

I am skeptical about their policy but I have also hear similar things from some other companies. I was just looking to find out if that is common in general in this area.

Re: Tuxedo Question

We need 4 tuxes - FH and his BM are both big guys (portly), my dad is tall and slender, and my FFIL is short and stout. I need all of the guys to try on the suits beforehand, and the owner of the neighborhood shop we went to said no problem.
This store has been in biz for 40 years, so they must be doing something right.
