Tuxedo Shirt Color

Does anyone know what color shirt is appropriate for the guys tuxes when the bride is wearing an ivory dress? I have heard that if they wear white shirts then the dress will look dirty. Is this true?

Yes, very often white next to ivory doesn't look that great. I suggest you take a fabric swatch from your dress to the tux place and have them match it up.

are you sure you mean their shirts? That really doesn't sound right to me... I've often seen their vests and ties matchinig the bridesmaids dresses, but never their shirts... usually the shirts are some shade of white.

For an ivory dress, I'd say get an ivory shirt. Most tux places should have them.

white shirts with ivory vests...
