Tuxedos and Bridesmaid dresses
Hi everyone,So my fiance and I are considering adding one more groomsmen and bridesmaid to our party. Making it from three on each side to four. But we are trying to figure out the costs associated with adding one more. How much would a tuxedo rental usually cost? And what else does the bride and groom usually have to supply for the bridal party? Thanks~!

Re: Tuxedos and Bridesmaid dresses
Are you paying for their tux rental and gowns? It's a nice gesture, but the cost is usually incurred by them. If you can afford it, then that's great but it's not necessary. On average, tux rentals are usually between $100-$150. Bridesmaid gown vary in price, but usually are $100-$200 area, depending on the manufacturer.

That's really nice of you if you are paying for their gowns and tuxedo rentals...but usually, when the bm's or groomsmen agree to be in a wedding, they inncur the cost.

Re: Tuxedos and Bridesmaid dresses
some people pay for hair & makeup for the BP - in my case, I just cannot afford it.wedding party gifts will run us about $50/pp and we've got 12 people in our party (guys and girls). So depending on how much you're going to spend - I've seen from $25 to $200+, but again entirely up to you - depends on how much more it will cost to have these ppl in your party.
IMO, think really carefully before doing anything. Will these people help you with stuff if/when you ask?
I totally regret asking someone; not because of the money but because every time I ask for help she won't give it to me and gives me stupid reasons why. I don't think she deserves a gift but whatever, i have to.
