Oh, ideally central to north shore, eastern Nassau or WEstern Suffolk. MY dad is handicapped and I don't want to drive him all over the island.
Thanks.

Re: Tuxes
We went to RSVP in Bay Shore. FH picked the place (because that's were the tuxes for his sister's wedding over 10 years ago were obtained). I have no feedback at this time. Will have to give an opinion after the wedding.
I think FH wants to go to Men's Warehouse mainly b/c its a chain and we have an usher from FL.

Re: Tuxes
We went to Bonaventure in Garden City for the bridesmaid dresses and the tuxes. While I'm not overly impressed about the bridesmaid aspect of the store, they seem to run them as separate divisions and have separate staff to work with you. The tux guy was wonderful, I think his name was Mario. He sat back and let me pick 5 different styles, helped my fiance get into them and then when I was unsure he gave me his opinion on why something would work or why it wouldn't. I felt comfortable asking his opinion, he wasn't just someone who worked at the store, he was very helpful. For my FSIL's wedding we experienced problems dealing with one of the chain stores, so I wanted a smaller place to deal with. So far I like them. Even through the minor annoyances with the bridesmaid dresses I still would recommend them.

Re: Tuxes
Fh and I are using Di-Re on Franklin Ave in Franklin Square. Its attached to Royalty Limo.
We dealt with Manny, he was soo helpful, FH tried on at least 4 different jackets and such before he could make a decision!
We got a discount b/c we got our limos from Royalty also

Re: Tuxes
We went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place (right next to Bridal Reflections) they had a really good selection and the place is beautiful. They are very helpful. For the groomsment the tuxes were $160 and for FH his tux was $190. Depending on the # of tuxes you order they give you a gift certificate that you can use towards the groomsmen tuxes, the groom's tux or anything you want.
Since we had 8 groomsmen 2 dads and 2 ring bearers we received a $275 gift certificate.

Re: Tuxes
Thanks girls. I guess I'll have to stick to my original plan though. My IL's live in Suffolk and my Dad is in a wheelchair so some of the stores might not be easily accessible for my to take him by myself. It seems like a lot of the good places are in Nassau but they are too far for my FIL. All parents are around 70 years old.
