Tuxes

Tuxes

Hi all, so FH is leaving me tomorrow to visit his family for the holidays. I am staying behind to be with my family since my sister could give birth any day! With that said, he wants to go tuxedo 'shopping' (maybe just looking) with his dad and brother (bm)...without me...

My question is.. am I crazy for not attending this trip? He thinks its kind of a manly bonding part of wedding planning and he thinks its more important for him to be with his guys than me, which I kind of understand, I am just afraid to let go of control too much.

When you went tux shopping, what were some important categories you covered that maybe I could prepare FH with before he goes? So far, I have thought of shirt color, style (vest and tie v. bowtie), color of tux, color of vests for him, guys, and dads.. etc.

FYI we are going with Mens Wearhouse, so maybe you have some MW specifics you could share. Thanks for your help!!

I wouldn't stress too much about it. Let him go and have his fun with his guys. When he gets back home pick a date to go to Men's Wearhouse together and have him show you what they liked and let you weigh in. If there is anything horribly wrong with what he is picking you can change it then. We went back to Men's Wearhous after making our original selections and made changes to our order and they had no problem changing it easily for us.

Don't stress.

I went only because it was convenient. Let him go with his family and bond over this moment. Have him take photos and maybe browse the website together so you are both on the same page.

This!

The only other thing that you should mention to him are that some of their tuxes come in a fitted version if that's something that you are interested in.
