When do the guys start to go for tuxes..and where did your guys go???

Well, if you wait until the last minute, like MY FI....(LOL!). We are getting married 11/8/03 and he & I went to 2 different places about a month ago: Black Tie and Rogers Tuxedos both in Smithtown. They both had similar prices but we decided to go with Rogers. We picked out what we both liked and he only JUST went back last night with 2 of the guys and his father to get measured. Half of them haven't gone to get measured yet. I think Rogers said you should come in to get measured at least 10 days before the wedding. But you should definitely go with your FI so he doesn't pick anything that you don't like. They will also need to be told whether your dress is white or ivory so they know what color shirt to give the groom & GM's.
Oops! One more thing: You should take into consideration the location of the tux place in relation to where the groom & GM's live. In case there is a problem with any of their tuxes on the day of the wedding, they should be fairly close to the store so they can run there & have them fix it. Just a suggestion!
