My BM are wearing black dresses. My FH was told by people at the tux store that the men should wear black vests. He wants to know if he can wear a platinum vest to set himself apart from them, and if this would clash. My gown has some silvery sparkle in it, so I don't think it would. What do you all think?

that sounds like it would go really well.. we did it the opposite way and the guys are wearing navy and FI is wearing black

I think most grooms wear a different vest than the GM... the combo sounds nice!

My FH is wearing the same colors as the groomsmen. My FH is wearing a double rose on his chest and the others are wearing only one. That is the only difference. I don't believe in 'supposed to' and 'not supposed to' I do what makes me happy!!!!
And I think those colors you picked will look great!!! Do what you want, not what people think you should do, or tell you to do!

I think that's a personal preference. my dad wore the same tux's as the ushers at my sister's wedding. but I've seen it done in all different ways.
