These are what the FH picked out for our wedding :) * hes in the pic as well. I think they look great with the regular tie....a bow tie makes me think of black tie weddings, ours is in the afternoon so its a bit too formal for our wedding but it depends on ur wedding

is that an ivory shirt or white??

it wasnt a dark ivory, more like an off white...it matched my dress PERFECT! the GMs had the same color shirt too

FH wants a tie, which I am very happy with b/c I really didn't want a bowtie, but I told him that it was up to him. Just glad we have the same taste!!!!!

DH insisted on 'real' ties for him and the boys. DH's tie was ivory and champagne and matched my gown perfectly. I loved it!

i bought ties
2 black for my dad and FFIL
2 ivory for FH and BM

That's an awesome tie! I may have to go with something like that. Looks very classy.

Re: Tuxes with regular ties?

Thank you all for the multitude of answers on this one! I should be able to convince him now that a tux CAN AND SHOULD be worn with a regular tie. And if I can't, I'm sure the tux rental place can...

THANKS!
