FH and I have plans to go to a couple of tux places on Saturday (which happens to be our 6 month mark). We're going to look at tuxes together and choose what we like together. That way he's got plenty of time to get his guys together and get measured. One of the places I plan on going to does a whole tailgating type party for that. Don't remember which one :o(

It's almost unfair. We were in and out of the tux shop within a half hour. It took me months to find a dress LOL.

If you are looking for a place, i went to Galleria/Gino's Tuxedoes on Rte 109 in Farmingdale. They were a pleasure to work with and FH got to actually try the tuxes on.

We need good recommendations for a Tux shop. I have seen so many baggy tuxes in weddings that are not altered well at all: Pants and sleeves too long, etc etc. I really want to find some that fit well. I wish FH would consider buying a tux, but he says no way! LOL

We are getting our tuxes at Tuxedo Park in Carle Place and they asked that my FH and I go in together to pick out the look and then the guys can get fitted on their own time. FH is going with his guys next Saturday and they do pizza and beer for the group while they get fitted. The place said measurements need to be in 6 weeks before but I am a bit of a pre-planner

They do, but I would call to check sizes. Also so you know it is cheaper to buy a childs Tux rather then rent.
