Two BM dresses I am wearing......And a Vendor Rave!
Just thought I would share..one for ideas...and two I have a vendor rave!!!!!
So I am in a lot of weddings this year. I had to go yesterday to pick up my dress for one wedding that is July 22.(David's Bridal) And I had to go try on and get fitted for the dress for an October 28 wedding.(Brides by Demetrios)
Anyhoo...I'm excited because both dresses are soo nice and I wanted to show them. The tea length, pearl pink(from David's)one is for the July Wedding. The Black one,(from Demetrios) which I will be wearing sans the gloves, is for the October wedding. I'm the MOH in both weddings
Anyhoo...My vendor rave is Brides by Demetrios. It was the actual Brides by Demetrios store, not another store that carries their line. Anyways...they were soo excellent. The customer service was out of this world. I told her how I planned on losing more weight before October. And she measured me and put in measurements of what realistically thought I would be in October. They were soo patient. And also..it was a Saturday so they were busy. But it was soo hard for me to be there and not try on wedding dresses. So after I was done...I ever so kindly asked if I could try on a few. They were just so more than helpful and were so nice and gave me ideas of what they thought would work well for my body. They could have been bugged or rushed that I did not have an appt. but they embraced me and were so kind. Then today I get a message on my cell, not to solicit me, but to kindly thank me for visiting their store and showing interest in their dresses! I loved it. No, I did not find 'the' dress. But I had soo much fun trying, and because of their customer service I will most definitely go back!!!
Sorry so lengthy,....but it was such a good experience and I thought I needed to share.
Also....the black bm dress is a jordan, I don't know what the David's one is. Thanks for listening

Me too!!! Actually the dresses at Demetrio were phenomenal and fantastic quality. Justine(zuzuspetals) had told me how awesome they were, and she was right. I didn't even intend to look at dresses, but its hard not too when they are there. I tried some from their couture collection and they were very similar styles to eve of milady!! Great prices too!!

those dresses are beautiful and you will look beautiful in them. Glad to hear you were treated so well by the employees at the store.

Nina.. they are BOTH gorgeous..
I am a HUGE customer service person.. I worked in Cust Ser for years and know that how I treated people, is exactly how I EXPECT to be treated..
I am working with Demetrios in Macy's in Manhasset and that is where I ordered my dress.. I worked with the Asst Mgr that day that wasn't really supposed to be on the floor but she was.. She was wonderful, I wished I could have taken her home!!!
I went back there last week to try on BM's gowns with my sister and although the Asst Mgr wsn't there, her store manager was and even though the store was busy, esp for a Thursday night and they had people coming in to pick on their BM's gowns, they were super helpful to me and even my sister noticed how wonderful they were..
So I am right there with ya sister.. I think Demetrios is superb!!!!

Both very nice. However I like the first one for my own wedding. I wonder if it comes in the color I want. I will check David's bridal.. I was thinking of having girls wear short dresses instead of long ones something different.

Beautiful dresses! Its so nice to hear you had such a great experience with Demetrios. That is my gown and I also had a wonderful experience with them. I went to their store also.

Done deal. I have one coming up July 8, but I'm a reader so no dress for that one.
