Two Maids/Matrons of Honor?
Is anyone having 2 Maids/Matrons of Honor? I have two very close friends who I want to ask to be my MOH. I was/will be for both of them. Anyone have any suggestions in asking them and telling them there will be another MOH? i am afraid my best freind since i was 12 will be insulted. she totally expects to be it and i want her but i want my best friend from college too. They both are out of state, mean a lot to me and i truly want them both. help!

Re: Two Maids/Matrons of Honor?
I have two MOH's. One is my bestfriend and the other my fav cousin. we all hang in the same cirlce so I just let them know together that they were both sharing the dutuies. I Personally believe that they like the Idea of sharing the responsibility rather than one having it all by their selves

I have a maid and a matron of honor. They are my two older sisters. I did this so I wouldn't have to choose. I really don't think your friend has any reason to be insulted. It just means you don't want to choose between them.

I am having two... I am having a Maid of Honor and Matron Of Honor. It worked out well for since my FH could not pick one friend over the other for Best Man.

Re: Two Maids/Matrons of Honor?
I have a maid and a matron of honor. My sister (my maid) was a little upset about it but we have had our problems and it meant a lot to me that my best friend was my MaOH. I have sat them down and shared with them each of their responsibilites (my sister will sign the marriage certificate) while my best friend will do more of the shower planning etc.

I have to MOH's that don't know each other at all. But, they are my best friends. I explain to them both that I couldn't decide between them and they understand. They were totally cool with it.

I have my two sisters as MOH's and my best friend from college as my Matron of Honor. Just make sure they know how important and special each of their roles as individuals are to you on your wedding day.

Re: Two Maids/Matrons of Honor?
I'm having a maid and a matron. The maid of honor AKA my friend since birth....seemed fine about it and then months later started asking why I did that and giving me attitude about it. The other girl is fine with whatever...cuz she acts like a grown up. I'm hoping the jealous/catty one will suck it up and not cause me stress when her job is supposed to be to eliminate the stress.Good luck! Hopefully your girls are more mature than mine.

Re: Two Maids/Matrons of Honor?
im not, but a lot of girls do, so its nothing really unusual anymore, just let them know that theyre each very important to you, and you really cant choose one over the other and would be honored if theyre both your mohWelcome New Vendors
