The Jimmy Choos are HOT and if I remember your dress right, they'll go nicely!
The J. Crew shoes are nice, but seem ordinary. I say do the Choos!

I'd go with the Jimmy Choos.
They're both really pretty, but if you can use them again, then that's a better use of your money.
And you can DEFINITELY wear these again.

have you tried the jimmy choos on??? i was trying to decide between a pair of jimmy choos and a pair of enzo angiolini and the enzos were actually 100 times more comfy than the jimmy choos! i think you'd actually get more use out of getting the j crew ones and dying them black afterward rather than the gold ones bc i think gold shoes like that are harder to wear everyday

Michele - these are gold, but its very pale, so I'm hoping it works with my dress.

My dress isn't a long gown though, the dress itself is regular length and even has a slit up the back! You can def see the shoes!! I think that is why this has been so hard.

love the jimmys! but i also think that you can just dye to jcrew ones a darker color and totally wear them again, something to consider
