Probably the first one for me.. because she said so.

I am taking his but in school I will use both. I just really want my Law Degree to have my maiden name as well.

I am still not 100% sure, but I think I am going to hyphenate. The only reason that I hesitate to do it is because my last name is 11 letters long, FH's is 6. It will be a mouthfull, but we are both the last of our kind. I also worked very hard in pre-school learning to spell my name.

I am definately taking his name. It's pretty much about tradition, but I really don't like my last name, so it's not a big deal for me.

I will have both (maiden and FH's last name), but will probably always use Fh's last name anyway. Just knowing I still have MY last name makes me feel betetr Fh is fine with this.

I took my DH's last name, it is so difficult getting used to signing it.

DMV wouldnt allow it so on that it just has
Veronica Maiden HisName

But I refused to drop my father's name. My middle name I don't care much for Im just used to it.

I am taking his. I can't wait to lose my last name because I can't stand my father or his family and I don't want to be associated with them anymore But if they were normal then I would p[robably hyphenate.

I took his last name, but moved my maiden name to my middle name. So I didn't lose it completely!

I haven't decided what i wanted to do yet. I LOVE my last name, not too crazy about his. SO either i will suck it up and take his or i will hyphen

Most of the accomplishments in my life have been while I was a single woman. I love my last name, I love my father....and my DH's last name is way too ethnic. People have a very difficult time pronouncing it! I get tired of correcting them. It does drive his mother up a wall though,,They are a very traditional family Dr. & Mrs. Michael......That is just NOT who I am! and the best part is DH respects me for it! However, when we have kids, I will go by his last name as to not confuse things at school.

Taking his, although I really like mine, Im not the Hyphen type of girl and am kinda traditional....
