first: Can someone break down the tax & tip for me. As in % wise
second: When is the approximate time I should order my invites? My wedding date is Oct 9. In regards to getting them stuffed and addressed and all that good junk

Tax and tip for the reception?? If that is what you are talking about I think it is regular tax : 8.625% and we are paying 18% tip

Every time I figured out the whole price it worked out to be about $15-20 more per person for tax and tip.
About ordering your invites... I ordered mine this week...If you have a specific one that you love, I would say order it just in case it gets discontinued..also you have lots to do with them..calligraphy or however you plan on doing it, and organizing and stuffing them could definitly take some time...

Regarding the invites. I just ordered mine Saturday. (I am getting married October 3rd). My timeline that I have been using said to do it by April 3rd. I think that was to give enough time to order them (they can take a couple of months to come in), stuff them and address them.
Regarding your invitations- You also need to know your final guest list before you order. The first store I looked in said that I shouldn't even order them until I know that.
