They are kind of similar, but I'd like to know your thoughts...
1. If your Photographer is the owner his company and he will be doing the work... do you still tip him?
2. I'll definately be tipping the DJ... the question is the MC... again he is the owner - does he get tipped too?

My photog is the owner and I am still tipping him. He hooked us up and I just feel bad not tipping someone, esp if they go above and beyond.
Same with the MC.

I'm honestly just tipping everyone, regardless of whether or not they own the company. The way I see it is, if they own the company, alot of what they are charging is going towards keeping their equipment in tack, supplies, possibly paying other employees, so I'd feel knowing that at least what I tipped them was going directly in their own pocket and not towards the company.

The rule is that anyone that owns the company doesnt get a tip... one of my photogs is also the owner and i think my video guy is the owner as well... but i will probably tip them...

i will be getting 2 photographers (both are co-owners of their company) ... i'll be giving htem about $150 each probably (they gave us a lot of freebies and already went above and beyond at our e-party)
the MC also gets a tip - anywhere between $75-150 is good (i'll prob give $100-125)
