Two types of favors

Two types of favors

I am thinking of having 2 types of favors - one a wine stopper with a leaf on the top, and another a set of glass coasters with leaves. Not enough so that everyone would get 2, but more that half would get 1 favor and half the other.

Do you think this is weird?

How would you do it - on a table as people leave, or alternate them at the seats?

the only reason I would stick to one favor is because

1) you may run into people saying 'hey why did so and so get that and I didn't? I'd rather have the other thing'

2) how to determine who gets which favor (do you mix it up at each table or does one table get all one favor and another all the other favor).

I think it may be more of a headache for you guys.

I like the coasters out of the 2 favors - everyone can get use out of coasters

Well I thought I would just alternate at each seat, so that way each couple can get one of each (when there is a couple)

But I do get what you are saying...

well then actually that wouldn't be a bad idea - if each couple is pretty much getting a different favor, than it's like they are getting 2 favors which is pretty cool. If you do it that way it could work

i actually think 2 is a great idea....

1. if anyone said to me why didn't i get this one id rather this one...I'll tell them to go you know where!

It makes it a little more interesting and I would alternate them at the seats. I mean who would complain considering if you only had one favor they would be stuck with whatever they got.
