two weddings last weekend.. reviews!
so i attending/ bridesmaid in two weddings last weekend so i figured i give short review for you girls. first one was at thatched cottage. everything was so pretty there, the view, the room, etc. the cocktail hour food was better than the dinner, but the dessert bar made up for that! the room was nice, but a little big for their attendees. my chair back when slided out hit the persons behind me. when i heard a good song i missed half of it by the time i got to the dance floor!. but thats not the halls fault, just too big of a crowd for the room.
the second was at the watermill and loved loved loved everything about it. the cocktail hour to the chocolate fountain dessert was amazing! def loved loved loved the chicken rollatini! the only time i noticed they did more than one wedding at a time was when we first walked in. other thatn that youd never know.
now, my dress review! i will never ever ever go to the wedding center for alterations again. we didnt have a problem with the actual center, but the alterations were horrible. first they were rude to me for my first fitting, didnt fit me right, so i asked them to fix what i didnt like and went to pick it up and they still never did it! im guessing they just didnt want to do the extra work!. when i went to pick up they walked past me about 8 times and never asked if i needed help! guess what? my alterations still werent done! i said screw it the day before the wedding adn just took what they did so far. another bridesmaid had a crooked hem and another dress that was altered by the rouching fell apart by the time we got to the church! thank god i brought my double sided tape!
sorry so blunt and cranky, but i was just really ticked and dissappointed. i hope others have a better luck with them.
