What is it? When is it? And how do I get to go?!

The Wedding Of The Year ... LIW has a fake wedding once a year ... this year was in Jan or Feb, i believe ... cust service will post something about getting tix at some point (at the end of the year, i'm assuming)

yep its the wedding of the year.

it will be again in jan or feb

a 2010 bride and her hubby will serve as the bride and groom and a bunch of other 2010 brides will be the bridesmaids

a bunch of LIW vendors all throw in their magic and do a kick *** wedding.

there are give aways and liw vendors showing off their skills.

yes..it does stand for the weddng of the year..but there is a reason why the word the is used but ron can explain that one to you

every yr liw has a mock wedding where a couple from liw gets to get 'remarried'..it is held at a great reception hall and all diffrent kinds of vendors get to show off amazing work and we get to go an party and of course win the amazing prizes they give out!!!

this year it was at chateau la mer and it was amazing!! i was lucky enough to be selected to be in the bridal party along with some great girls and the ever gorgeous lauren and her husband brad who were a great bride and groom

next year a 10 bride will get selected and so will the bridal party and it will take place early 2011..tix go on sale a couple months b4 and sell out quick

it was such a great experence and was so thankful to be a part and i have to say we made out like bandits with all the stuff we got and if u can be a part of it..do it!!!

Thanks for the info!!! Who's Ron? How does the couple get chosen and/or the BM's? TIA. Something else to look forward too!! I couldn't attend this years extravaganza cuz I recently moved to the bronx but I've heard great things- I can only imaine this must be like 10 ten times better eliminating the stress of vendor picking and such hahah.

That's hilarious!! Thanks for the info. I look forward to it - getting FH involved might be a whole differnt story hahah he too pulls out the those moves but he has too- given that my family is latino and dancing is like the equivelant of having turkey at thanksgiving. hahhaa I just realized I became an board enthusiast over night. Yay!
