TWOTY

Original post by LIWeddings

No, this isn't what you think it is.

I had an idea and would like your feedback.
Please only answer/vote if you plan on going to TWOTY.

Should we;
1) Post the tickets for sale around 10pm on a random weeknight and whoever gets them, gets them?
2) Allow everyone who wants to go to TWOTY register over a 24 hour period of time - then have the computer select 200 people randomly?

I thought of this in an attempt to be fair to everyone who would like to go.

Either way there will be one table only for newlyweds.

I am a converted 2010 bride, now a 2011. I got tickets last year for TWOTY due to a death in the family. Now, I may not have a chance to go at all? If you will not be on, make friends on here who can BBM you, or sign under your name. If you have soo many posts, you should have ONE friend that can help you out. I voted for the 10pm, because even if Im not on, I know enough ladies on here that would snatch a set of tickets for me.

Can ppl snatch tickets for other brides???

Then you are not familiar with our programming. If someone gets tickets and tries to log on under another users name the transaction is denied because that computer already got tickets!

What about if you have two computers in one household?

I don't want to sound mean

But Ron no matter what you do there will be brides who do not like the decision

If you raise the posts brides with low posts numbers will be upset
If you do it at 10pm Night working brides will be upset
If you do it randomly and a bride is not picked she may scream Fix

Basically you need to do what will work smoothly for you all in the office.

Live is full of disappointments and if not getting tickets to TWOTY then so be it. The 2011 brides survived last year with no tickets.

If I am lucky enough to attend so be it but truthfully if I don't get a ticket the world around me won't crumble.

Again sorry if it came off cold. I just had to add my own voice to this conversation

I'm just curious though, if the person used separate computers, with separate IP addresses, and separate usernames....how will you know? I always like to learn, but sorry if this is causing a problem

Good question!!! I am worried some girls might have BM's that have accounts and chat and get to the number mark and order tickets for them... and if I dont have any BM's I might not get tickets

Ron--

I don't envy your position.

But it must feel good to know that girls want to attend your event so badly.

I hope to see you at our shower and I hope you have a good night. Sincerely, thanks for taking everyone's suggestions and concerns into account, it's a part of what makes LIW a community.

'night!!
