No, this isn't what you think it is.

I had an idea and would like your feedback.
Please only answer/vote if you plan on going to TWOTY.

Should we;
1) Post the tickets for sale around 10pm on a random weeknight and whoever gets them, gets them?
2) Allow everyone who wants to go to TWOTY register over a 24 hour period of time - then have the computer select 200 people randomly?

I thought of this in an attempt to be fair to everyone who would like to go.

Either way there will be one table only for newlyweds.

I'm just curious though, if the person used separate computers, with separate IP addresses, and separate usernames....how will you know? I always like to learn, but sorry if this is causing a problem

I vote for random selection. 10pm NY time is 3am here, and I'm very rarely awake at 3am on a random weeknight...

I think that 10pm (maybe on a week day) would be the best way to go!!!! I think if people want to go bad enough, they will find a way to get on the computer at the right time!

Where are you? You'd fly to NY just for Twoty? Now that is some dedication.

Can past TWOTY-attendees tell us how much it usually is? Just curious.

I'm dying to go this year. I'm always on the boards. I have over 1k posts and I've only been on this site for 4 months...so it can totally be done. And not all of us 2011 brides have all of our vendors picked out. Some of us just started planning!!

If I get shut out because of some random drawing, I'll be so upset.

Agreed. My FH sees me on this site so much that he could probably navigate it with ease. Worst comes to worse, can't girls at work get their FH's to log them in and purchase tickets? Think scrappy, people!

Random drawing is the way to go. I missed out last year because I couldn't get on the computer at the set time & I'm still upset I lost out.

I'm in England (LI born, raised, and to-be-married. I'm studying here). I've pulled a few crazy trans-Atlantic weekend trips to NY in the past. And I'll already be in NY for part of January, depending on the date of TWOTY
