TWOTY attire

i love stockings! i have a collection of different colors and textures it's crazy!

i will definitely be wearing them to TWOTY except probably just a plain pair

I think I am wearing leggings & boots with my dress to keep warm. Plus then I don't have to do stockings & heels.

I am living out of bins so I need to be very strategic with pulling things out.....maybe I will just wear a black dress and call it a day...*sigh*..and maybe bling it up with some nice jewelry....hmmm...

I'm either wearing a red dress or navy, is red too much for a day time wedding???? If I wear red then I'll wear black tights with either boots or pumps but if it's the navy dress then no tights and pewter pumps..I don't know what to do!!!!! Please Help!!

hah! so funny, I'm deciding between a red dress and a navy dress as well. I don't think red is too much, personally. Mine is at the tailor getting a new zipper but if I get it in time and looks good, I'm wearing it!

I would say a cocktail dress is a fancier dress for formal events/parties that is at or above the knee. I think what makes it 'cocktail' vs any other dress is the material. Like as opposed to a cotton or sweater dress, a cocktail dress would be like satin, lace, etc.

eta: both the dresses I'm debating between are satin and fitted... I debated the material since the wedding is during the day but it does go into night
