TWOTY question...

If your FH is working that night, are we allowed to bring another guest - such as another LIW bride to be??? Because im pretty sure FH will be working and i would bring someone else!

really?? well if i bought 2 tickets and gave an LIW bride that 2nd ticket, what would be the difference in her buying her own LOL?

i am also positive that they are non transferrable...so please dont buy 2 if FH is not going

at the LIW shower, they specifically said its not transferrable.

this is good to know!

FH will be at a bachelor party that weekend if I am lucky enough to go!

TWOTY is held during the day and tickets are not transferable, you can't buy tickets and just hand them over to another bride if you know that your FH can't go

whether twoty is during the day or night is irrelevant because he works at night, sleeps all day - so i know he def cant come.

so if i am able to purchase tickets, ill just go myself...

So I've been on LIW for the duration of my engagement/wedding planning but mostly as a lurker for the first 6 months or so because I started a new job and was in training and unable to be on the computer.

I know TWOTY stands for the wedding of the year....but what on earth is it and what event are you all talking about?! My husband has some weekend stuff going on coming up but I may be able to go solo or with a girlfriend....PLEASE DO TELL!

I am wedding obsessed!!!

Its not a silly question bc i didnt know what it was at first either!
Its a mock up wedding - google it and you can see pics from their website. LIW hosts it and there are a ton of vendors, prizes - its just really cool! I hope i get to go :) they sell tickets on here, not sure how that works, they havent announced anything yet! the 2010 brides are part of the bridal party... just seems really cool!

In any case, you can probably go solo like me, if i go - because you aren't allowed to bring anyone except FH -
I was planning to bring another LIW girl but we cant do that :(

Hopefully we get to go!!!!!!

My best advice to you ladies....If you can get tickets - GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its an event that is definately NOT WORTH MISSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went by myself last year cause DH had no interest in going.. I had a blast with the other girlies who's DH's didnt come so its def worth it!!!

FYI- For NW's there is only 1 table and it is only for the brides- no grooms are invited. You need to be right there when tickets go on sale in order to get them. For everyone else they have a better shot and are able to bring FH's

Its still sinking in that I am an NW!!! I have been calling my husband fiance....I slipped with boyfriend every now and again through the first couple of months of our engagement so I guess this is par for the course! LOOOOVE calling him my husband though!

Do any other NWs wanna try to go?! Depends on when it is of course...

Away for work pretty much the entire month of January - darn!

One of my friends is trying hard to lure me onto LIFamilies....I may be a LIFer by January anyways haha!
