TWOTY...What is this?

I know it stands for The Wedding of the Year but what exactly goes on there. Is it an actual wedding or is a type of bridal expo? I'm very curious and would maybe like to go when it comes again.

its a mock wedding that LIW does. They pick the bride and bridal party from the previous year. So this means the 08 brides now can enter to either win the part of the bride or bm, and the husband of the bride chosen will play the groom and bm's husbands i think are the groomsmen. Each year they pick a different place. Liw vendors will be the vendors, dj, florist, photographer and so on. So its good if its one of your vendors bc you get to see them in action and also if its your RH. The day will go on like a regular wedding, with a ceremony and a reception following. Theres also prizes given out. So you also have the opportunity to win alot of great prizes. many of the prizes are for services of a vendor, such as DOC, photographer and the list goes on

they sell tickets, anybody on liw can purchase the tickets and you can purchase a ticket for somebody you want to bring with you, such as FH/DH, mom, a friend

last year it was about $30-35 for each ticket. Not sure this year bc they have said yet but should be around the same

I am so glad you asked this. I've been trying to figure it out, but never thought to actually ask. This year's event is at my RH, I might try to go.
