I''m so confused. My package comes with 50 pics in an 8 x 10 with border or 10 x 10 flush. I talked to my photog. and she said for $895.00 more I can get a digital album. So far, photography has cost me $3700. I don't know if it's worth it because I dont' know if I want each page to be very busy, although it does look good. Hmmm, what does everyone think?

Re: Type of Album
I'm getting a digital magazine style album- my photographer will work with me to design it however I want, so if I don't want busy pages, he won't make them like that. I'd definitely go with the digital magazine ones- there's so much more flexibility with what you can do.

I think the digital album is totally worth it. They are just so creative and beautiful. I believe they are the wave of the future too. Either way it will turn out great.

Re: Type of Album
Okay... I am going to sound like a dope here... what is a digital magazine album? When discussing photography options, I have always liked the classic look of the flush mount. I didn't even consider a digital album becuase I thought it was just a disk with all my proofs on it!!!! I feel so dopey!

Re: Type of Album
The digital album is nice but I LOVE the look & style of the traditional albums...Ilike having my actual pictures in my album & it will last forever!!! The digital albums are beautiful though. My photographer suggested maybe doing the first page or the center page digital. We will see.

I am getting the digital magazine style. I think it is soooo worth it. Also, they can be very elegantly done so it doesn't look like a busy scrapbook.

I love the digital albums, but I'm an old fashioned girl and I am going for a regular album.

Ellen, i am having a traditional album and i plan on having the center page with a digital layout...sort of like a collage..did u ask them for that???

Re: Type of Album
I like the digital albums. I love the way they are laid out. I like how you can have 1 pic as a background with a few other little pics on the same page. I definitely think it is worth the money. In a few years, everyone is going to getting digital. I don't want to be 'behind the times' when it is available to me.

We are getting the magazine style but I asked my photographer not to make the pages too busy. You usually get more images with the digital which is why I chose it.

I personally don't like digital albums. To me they look like HS yearbooks. I love the look of a traditional wedding album, so that is what we got!

I agree. IMO the digital albums look very scrapbook-y and trendy. I want my wedding album to be classic and timeless, so we are going to have a more traditional album.

Re: Type of Album
i wanted digital but when i got quotes for it i knew that never happen! But Duet has it as a package.....so when we saw that we knew we had to get it! So thats what we are doing.....it doesnt need to look scrapbookish only if you over do the pages...which i wont! i def think its worth it if you like the style...but also for the price you are paying thats the same im paying and that was w. digital. So id prob need to do the pros and cons!
