Uggg.... Guess what I found out this weekend! sorry a tad long...
My FH and I just got back into a medieval group on LI. Many of theses people we haven't seen in yrs so they didn't know about our engagment, and everyone was more than happy for us. Well I was talking to Sarah one of the women who does the booking for advents, (at the advents they have bauffer fighting, kinda like swords with padding on it.) I told her its at the UU church in Huntington for a 100 pp. She knows the place because they have had advents there. Well she told me that place can't fit a 100 pp. I was shocked. Because when I talked to the woman on the phone I told her how many pp and she didn't say anything of the sort.
Well Sarah told me of an advent they had of 68 pp and they were very tight. (after the fighting they often do a dinner for some advents.) But they have two rooms. Her BF was telling me if we plan it very carefully we could between the two rooms have the stationed buffet, the tables and dancing and DJ equitment.
I'm just really annoyed at the UU church for not saying anything. This is the second time they pulled something like this. The other time I told them I wanted to have my ceremony at 6pm, and the woman failed to tell me that I can't have it until 8pm because at 7pm they have some dance class. They are starting to PMO! Sorry this is long.
