UGGGHHH $*&#$%!

My Fire Island bachlorette party is this Saturday... I have planned this for many months and of course the only weekend that its going to rain in August is this one?! and likely with winds up to 70 or more mph?!

I want to reschedule but noone can find a day that works.

It has literally rained at almost every wedding related day I have had.. except for my shower.. oh how funny that is.

I know it ***** but if you cant reschedule I would make the best of it..you may not be able to go in the water or tan but you can go out drinking and just enjoy your time with your friends.

We are actually not staying there. Supposed to take the ferry over Saturday but the way it looks we cant get on a boat.. So I guess.. any suggestions for something local?

Uuughhh....that stinks! I feel your pain because we are supposed to go to the Nautical Mile on Sat and now there is going to be a hurricane!! I don't know if we should change our plans or not. You can always go to Rockville Centre and bar hop there. There are a lot of bars and most of them are indoors.

Yeah that was our backup plan.. I just hope its not torrential downpours.

Oh no that s*cks!

You could try the bars in RVC… or Four in Farmingdale. Or even Glo - even though it’s not really my style, I still have fun when I go there watching some of the ridiculous people.

Maybe rent a really nice hotel in the city and hit the town!!! you can get great last minute deal hotel for cheap...try hotwire or priceline.

There is so much to do in the city even if it rains...

OK???? Then let me think.....if the weather was nice you could do the dinner cruise or If you don't need to be in Manhattan, there is a wine/cheese/fondue bar in Brooklyn called The Jake Walk and is on Smith Street. There's also a local French pastries place across the street that I bet you could get them to bring in desserts if they know it's for a bach party. Also tons of fun bars around there (try the Zombie Hut for some knockout frozen drinks) if you want to go out afterward. Fondue for two at the Jake Walk is $12.

You may also think about wine tasting???

I also have been to Dip in the city for fondue and its got a club feeling...it can get pricey in the city though...

Try NYCLips....its a drag restaurant....they put on a show while your eating

Or do Manis & pedis @ your fav salon or Dashing Divas
