UGGGHHHH! Frustrated beyond all recognition with 4 days left

Today I printed up all the place cards.

After I finish the place cards, I get a call from FH.

Best man broke up with girlfriend, isn't bringing a date.
Got a call from family friend, oh, he's not bringing a date now either.
Then got another call from FH, grandmother isn't coming, and his two friends aren't coming either.

So, we are down 5 people with 4 days to go, and now I had to rework ALL the tables with my mother tonight because of this.

Then, I had to reprint a TON of place cards.

What the H E double hockey sticks is wrong with people?!

Man I am wondering that myself!!! People don't consider the cost and time that all this stuff entails!!

IMO, it is the end of finishing schools. Back in the day 'young ladies' were taught about RSVPing promptly, sending written thank-you notes for gifts etc. These days no one is taught anything about etiquette and it shows.

At least be happy they told you.

I know it's not much help, but be thankful they thought of you! I had 3 no-shows at 1 table.

that would boil my blood - the whole printing of the placecards deal... I hate wasting my pretty paper.

however, I don't think you are 'officially' a bride until you get the last minute cancel calls - so yay!???!???

Same thing happened to me, I didn't rework any tables or print any new place cards - just left the tables as they were. its not worth it to do all that work over again.

You shouldn't have to deal with this with such little time to go but it appears this is a common thing.

I hope at least you still meet your minimum!

Laurie, this was one of my thoughts exactly! My poor Paper Source place cards getting tossed in the trash. grrr. the nerve of these people! haha

Thank God I don't have a minimum!! Or else I would have been completely murderous.
