I just recieved this message on facebook from one of my sorority sisters:

I didn't get an invitation in the mail to you wedding, and if I was not invited that is totally fine, but I was wondering if I was still invited if I could join!?!? Talk to you soon!'

I liked your mature response. I just had a friend leave a message on my cell. I am not close friends with her, she is a newer friend. As far as I know, she wasn't involved in a serious relationship, so I invited her only-not with guest. I know she doesn't have the money to come to the wedding but when she found out I was engaged she asked me if she was invited. What could I say? Now I am going to have to pay for her and a stranger My FH said he will talk to her. I am better with the email thing. I called her back but got her voice mail FH said not to leave a message. So I am waiting for a call back. I am not sure what to say, I hate being in this situation.

Uggh that's a tough situation too. Good luck with that, let us know what happens..
The thing with this girl is: 1. I'm not that close with her, she wasn't even considered for our B list... which is something that we can't even touch. And 2. Even if I was going to give in, we don't have any invites left! Also, the RSVP date is less than 2 weeks away... and yes, I still haven't heard from over 200 people... kinda freaking about that!

UGH! I had one of those... a girl from college would NOT leave me alone about being invited to our wedding. Her last effort was 'What does a girl gotta do to get a wedding invitation around here'. Finally I couldn't ignore her anymore and basically said something along the lines of what you said. Haven't heard from her since, so I think she got the message! LOL

Oh man... I don't get it... how do they do it? I would never! I mean you're not invited to something, obviously you're not wanted. Why the hell would you push the issue... people amaze me!
