ugh

My parents told me last night they thought it would be easier for me to get ready for the wedding if I had it in the evening instead of the morning like I had originally booked. I'm fine with with that I thought it would be too expensive to have an evening wedding but hey if they're paying for it the GREAT!
So I called to change it but I found out the ceremony would start at 7pm and the cocktail hour would be 8-9 and the reception is like 9-1am. That's really late!!!!! I was hoping everything would start around 4 or 5. and end around 11. I don't want my guests to leave early to drive all the way back to brooklyn. So I guess I'm going to keep my original plan and get married at 11:30am the whole thing will be over at 5:30.

Oh well I tried

Dont be sad

I had my wedding early and it was over at the same time and it was so awesome! People are still talking about it - actually today

Then you can get comfortably dressed and hang out afterwards too. People will stay the whole time and wont have to rush home, and my reasoning - the outside views are so beautiful during the day.

That stinks!!

I dont get it though, if you were the earlier wedding and 'canceled' then they should have the entire day open?

1am is definitely too late
